Sensex Gains Over 100 Points, Nifty Firm Above 11,850

The Sensex had on Tuesday ended 247.55 points - or 0.61 per cent - lower at 40,239.88 and the Nifty settled at 11,856.80, down 80.70 points (0.68 per cent) from the previous close.
